SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021: State Bank starts application for the recruitment of 5000+ clerk posts, see notification


SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021 State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest bank in the public sector, has issued notification for 5000+ posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre at its branches across the country.

India’s largest bank in the public sector, State Bank of India (SBI) has issued notification for 5000+ posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre at its branches across the country. According to the recruitment advertisement (No. CRPD / CR / 2021-22 / 09) released by the bank on Monday, 26 April 2021, applications are being invited from qualified candidates for the total vacancies of more than 5 thousand clerical cadres, including regular and backlog.

Interested candidates can apply through the online application form provided on the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in. SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021 online application process is starting today, April 27, 2021 and candidates will be able to submit their application online by May 17, 2021. However, the candidates should note that they will also have to pay the application fee of Rs 750 fixed by SBI by May 17 only. At the same time, candidates will be able to take a printout of the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021 application form submitted online by filling it up to June 1, 2021 and can also download a soft copy.
The application process has started from 25 April and the candidates will be able to submit their application by 7 May.

Who can apply?

Those candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any other higher education institution are eligible to apply for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021. However, students of the final year or semester of the undergraduate course may also apply, but these candidates must submit a copy of their bachelor’s degree certificate by 16 August 2021.
Additionally, on 1 April 2021, the age of the candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. This means that candidates must have been born before 2 April 1993 and not later than 1 April 2001. However, in the maximum age limit SC / ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-servicemen, widow / divorced women candidates have also been provided a relaxation as per the rules laid down by the government. SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

The prescribed selection process for selection of candidates for the posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre at State Bank of India includes online preliminary examination, online main examination and the stages of local language examination selected by the candidates. The preliminary examination will be of 1 hour with a total of 100 questions related to English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. 100 marks will be prescribed for the preliminary examination. There will also be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the preliminary examination. Candidates declared successful in the preliminary examination will be invited to appear in the main examination.
